MAJESTIC BALTIC SEASIDE

10 days/ 9 nights

DAY 1 Arrival in Tallinn. Rented car will be waiting for you in passenger terminal. Afternoon meeting local guide and having private tour around Tallinn. Tallinn is a charming blend of medieval tranquillity and modern urban life. The medieval Old Town is a busy place in the summer with its many shops, galleries, souvenir markets, outdoor cafés and restaurants. The sightseeing tour takes us around the old medieval city walls and into the Old Town where we see Toompea Castle, Dome Church, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, medieval Old Town Hall and Great Guild Hall. Accommodation in Tallinn.

DAY 2 Free day to explore wonderful beaches around Tallinn. Each year, as soon as the first warm days of summer hit, the focus of Tallinn life shifts to its wide, sandy beaches. Tallinn boasts five public swimming beaches: Pirita, Stroomi, Harku, Kakumäe and Pikakari.  Facilities typically include changing stalls, showers, toilets, sports and play areas, mobile ice cream vendors and parking. For something a bit more secluded, grab a car and head outside the city limits to one of the rural beaches – Laulasmaa, Lohusalu, Salmistu or Kaberneeme. Accommodation in Tallinn.

DAY 3 Travel to Pärnu. Pärnu is a historical beautiful resort seaside city with a small harbour in the South-Western part of Estonia. White sandy beaches, shallow waters, rich cultural scene and numerous cafés, restaurants and nightclubs – there is plenty to see and do. Since 1996, Pärnu has been known as the Estonia’s Summer Capital. There’s a popular Estonian saying that if you haven’t seen your friends during the year, you’ll meet them all in the summer in Pärnu. Beach life, dozens of festivals, night clubs, big party crowds, concerts and funfairs – Pärnu has it all. Accommodation in Pärnu.

DAY 4 Travel to Riga. Afternoon meeting with the local guide. Riga, founded in 1201 by the German bishop Albert, is the largest of the three Baltic capitals and boasts a real kaleidoscope of architectural styles. The walking tour of the Old Town includes Riga Castle, the Dome Cathedral, St. Peter’s Church, the Swedish Gate, the Three Brothers, the Large and Small Guilds and the Freedom Monument. Accommodation in Riga.

DAY 5 The day is reserved for an optional visit to Jurmala, the vibrant Latvian sea resort, famous for its wooden architecture and sandy beaches. The beach is covered in white quartz sand. “The Blue Flag“, which is a sign of a high quality, safe and well-equipped beach has been hoisted at Majori and Jaunķemeri beaches. Accommodation in Riga.

DAY 6 Travel to Lithuanian resort Palanga. Palanga lies in western Lithuania, on the shore of the Baltic Sea and is known as the country’s summer capital. Palanga is appealing to everybody because you can choose from either anactive holiday in the lively town centre or just relax in the tranquility of the pine trees and the more secluded beaches. Accommodation in Palanga.

DAY 7 Travel to Nida on the Curonian Spit. Nida is Lithuania’s favorite resort town on the Curonian Spit. This town, with its cozy, colorful cottages is located near the high white dunes that help to make it famous. If you visit the Curonian Spit, Klaipeda, or the Lithuanian seaside in general, Lithuanians will ask you if you made it to Nida. You won’t understand why until you’ve been there. Afternoon meeting local guide and visiting the main sites of the town. Accommodation in Nida.

DAY 8 Full day to explore white beaches on Curonian Spit. The entire Curonian Spit and Lagoon belongs to UNESCO and the sand dunes in Nida alone make the place a unique site for even a well-travelled soul. Accommodation in Nida.

DAY 9 Travel to Svencele - Wind & Kite Surfing Spot is a camping site situated on the eastern coast of Curonian lagoon, opposite the Curonian Spit. It is equiped with  sea-cargo styled containers, tuned for comfortable stay: with comfortable beds, white linen, big windows and stunning view of the Dead Dunes on the other side of Lagoon. Svencele is called the Wind Meka, and is known all across EU, as it is one of the best flatwater surfing spot in Europe. Svencele always was a nice place, but know it offers even more: kite & wind surfing lessons with 3 schools, wakeboard reverse cable in case there is unlike situation of zero wind, and small but nice restaurant. It is nice place to be active – but you can also just sit on the coast, read book, let wind empty your head, be hypnotized by Dead Dunes.. It is real escape off the beaten path, that is never crowded with mass tourism. Accommodation in Svencele.
