DAY 1 Arrival to Vilnius. Private transfer to the hotel of selected category. Accommodation.

 

DAY 2 Take a 3 h. sightseeing tour  through UNESCO listed Vilnius Old town. Get inspired by mixture of architecture styles, amazing stories and rich history. See Cathedral square, get up St. John‘s Bell tower for a panoramic view, pass by baroque Vilnius University, gotchic masterpiece – St. Ann‘s church, learn about Lithuanian gold – amber in the amber gallery. Bring your little ones to the Toy museum, where you can not only learn about the uniqueness of toys and games, but also play them. Another great family attraction – Telia Nonmuseum. In 15 minutes you will reveal the past of Vilnius through lasers and projections.

 

DAY 3  Drive 25 km away from Vilnius and you are in the ancient capital of the Grand Dutchy of Lithuania, once called „town on the water“. Visit 15th century Medieval Trakai castle and learn about ethnic minority Karaites. You will have a chance to try traditional Karaites food while visiting local restaurant. Afterwards drive to the only Lithuanian sea port – Klaipeda.  Free time and overnight.

 

DAY 4 Short tour to introduce you the main attractions of  Klaipeda Old Town: Theatre square, legendary ship Meridianas, german style fachwerk buildings, numerous mini statues  with litlle secrets. Afterwads take a 10 min. ferry to the Sea  Museum and Dolphinarium ( the only one in the Baltics). Walk around renowated  Sea museum, learn about Baltic sea, different fishes and other sea inhabitants. Show of  Dolphins  does not leave anybody indifferent.  Return to Klaipeda.

 

DAY 5 You will take a ferry and travel to Curonian Spit – the pearl of Lithuania. In Juodkrante you will climb an authentic Hill of Witches,  decorated with numerous wooden sculptures based on Lithuanian legends and folk tales. In Nida you will see majestic continental sand dunes, unique wooden architecture, neo-gothic church and old ethnographic cemetery. Return to Klaipeda for overnight.

 

DAY 6 Morning departure to Lithuanian summer capital Palanga. Free time to visit impressive Amber museum, beautiful botanical garden and  enjoy time in white sand beaches.

Optional:

• Visit Vinetu village ( 16 km from Palanga/ Klaipeda). It is an authentic North America’s Indian village – live Native American museum, where you can book different educations to learn about native North American weapons, culture, crafts.

• Horse riding (Palanga)

 

DAY 7  Free morning in Palanga. Afternoon transfer to Vilnius. Overnight.

 

DAY 8  Private transfer to the airport. Departure.
